I can’t imagine that anyone will be surprised by the stupidity of Perez Hilton, both today and generally speaking. There is a reason that people beat him up (not condoning violence).
Earlier today when Michael Jackson was first rushed to the hospital for cardiac arrest Perez took the low road, or as the rest of us call it “the usual” and made some jokes about Jackson that he has since removed.
Sure, Perez Hilton isn’t a parent or a celebrity, but Michael Jackson was both and the comments that Hilton made were in poor taste even before Jackson died.
As I said, he has removed his post, but thanks to the wonder of Twitter (it’s a love/hate thing ) we have a copy of it for your disapproval: I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that Perez Hilton may soon be losing his crown as “Queen of All Media” with the stuff he’s been selling lately.
Bad show, Perez.

I just wanted to write a little blog from my friend Sharad (xraytid on twitter.) He asked today what his good qualities are.
I've asked this many times and never really gotten an answer. I find this slightly hurtful and have come to the conclusion I'm slightly a bitch (go figure).
I think that everyone no matter how large their ego is or isn't needs to hear that they are a good person and have many redeemable qualities.
So Sharad, you asked this on twitter but I don't think your qualities can fit into 140 characters.
One of the best qualities you show me, and others that I've noticed is that you're a good friend. That goes for people you may know in the real world.
With me, you seem to listen... (or atleast you pretend really well) and you may not know this, but one of the nights we talked on aim I was more depressed than I've ever been.
I didn't let on, so I thought... but either way.. You let me talk, and go on my little "fml" tirade and at no point to you ignore me.
I think deep down you have a great heart.
Oh, not to mention you deal with how "new" I am when it comes to website making.. Smh
You also have an endless love for your daughter. I can tell she's your world. You're another person when you talk about her... it's nice to see.
So yeah.... let me stop before more bloggers write about us socalled sex'n again.

Before Sidekicks & iPods; PlayStation3 or X-BOX360. When light up sneakers were cool & when you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs. When gas was $1.15 a gallon & caller ID was a new thing ; when we recorded stuff on VCRs & paid $3.50 for a movie . When we called the radio station to request songs to hear off our walkmans ; when 2Pac & Biggie were alive . When the Chicago Bulls were the best team ever; Way back when we played tag, Hide- & -Go Seek at dusk, red light, green light, heads up 7 Up; playing kickball & dodgeball until your porch light came on, hopscotch, slip- & -slides, hula hoops, skip-its . Remember reading R.L. Stine's GooseBumps series, the annoying NanoPets & Furbies, running through the sprinklers , crying when Mufasa died in the Lion King, Happy Meals where you chose a Barbie or a Hot Wheels car, getting the privilege to sit in the front seat of the car. But wait ; how about watching saturday morning cartoons in your PJ's, still wrapped up in your Garfield comforter, Hey Arnold , Doug, Rugrats , The original Power Rangers, Double Dares with a cherry on top , Rocko's Modern Life, Real Monsters, Wild & Crazy Kids, The original cast members of All That, Kenan & Kel, The Magic School Bus, Wishbone , Bill-Nye the Science Guy . Who could forget Snick & Nick @ Nite with Bewitched, I Dream of Jeanie , The Facts of Life, & I Love Lucy. Where everyone wanted to be in love after watching The Wonder Years, or Nick Jr. with Face, Gulah-Gulah Island, Little Bear, Under the Umbrella Tree, The Busy World of Richard Scary, The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh & Kool-Aid was the drink of choice, wearing your new shoes on the first day of school, class field trips, when Christmas was the most exciting time of year, when $5 seemed like a million, & another dollar a miracle .

On Aug. 21st 2007, a large fire later ruled as arson ruined the once great Thornwald Mansion. It's located in Carlisle, PA. The mansion was built in 1909 for Lewis Sadler, according to Cumberland County land records.
Sadler once lavishly entertained national politicians and the elite in the dining room. The house included secret rooms behind a wall, a rathskeller (beer hall) and wine cellar in the basement, and ornate wood and masonry work. At one point every room was stocked with antique furniture and oriental rugs, according to a document on file at Cumberland County Historical Society.
The same document says the house was built with concrete floors and enforced steel. Iron grates that could be pulled over the first-floor windows made the mansion “practically impregnable from the outside.” It was once boasted that the house might “stand for at least a thousand years.”
Secluded among trees and behind homes, the mansion had become a destination point for partiers. In 2006, Carlisle police charged some local juveniles with criminal trespass after they entered the 9,000-square-foot landmark and posted images of themselves on the Internet.
From what I understand the Mansion was abandoned for years. It was donated by the last owner to the people of the park. I had moved to Carlisle,PA November 2007 and I wished I would have gotten a chance to see it before the fire.
I found a spot where the fence can be entered, but I had my daughter with me today, so I didn't get a chance to get closer. I will make a part two to this post if anyone is interested. It was hard to get any really good pictures from behind the fence.
